The hotel's attention to detail and warm hospitality from John and Pat made for a memorable stay. the room was impeccably clean and modern, with thoughtful extras that added to the overall comfort of the stay. the breakfast spread was impressive, with a wide variety to choose from and delicious options to start the day off right. The location of the hotel was convenient, within walking distance to the town and tucked away in a quiet area near the seafront. the hosts had great knowledge of the area and provided helpful tips on where to go and what to see. the family atmosphere at the hotel made it feel like a home away from home. While the overall value proposition of the Crowndale is solid, I did find some aspects lacking. the lack of on-site parking and the need to park off-site was a bit inconvenient. the lack of amenities such as ironing facilities or a dressing area in the room was a downside for me. Overall, the Crowndale is a charming and comfortable hotel that offers a pleasant stay with friendly hosts and a welcoming atmosphere. With a few improvements in amenities and convenience, it could truly be a standout choice for those looking for a cozy retreat.
